About Miles & Ali

It all started when…

We collaborated on a photoshoot over 2 years ago. Ali had been doing freelance modeling for years, while Miles was just defining his style within portrait photography. We had so much fun together on our photoshoot, we went on our first date.. which was an adventure that pretty much never ended!

Now we live together in Cheney, WA. With our full house family, aptly named “The Bergsma Bunch”, we have 6 kids between the two of us.

We both have the pleasure of working from home during the post-covid era, which has opened up our ability to pursue freelance work within photography and videography.

Ali has over a decade worth of photography and modeling experience, with one of her earliest business ventures being a family photography business called “Ali Kat Photography” in the 90’s - using a 35mm camera and film developed in the dark room.

Miles works full time as a photographer and content creator in Spokane, WA with a tech startup called GoToTags. His freelance works consists of a wide variety of photo styles, from cannabis to crossfit, he learned early on that being well rounded in the media industry would set him apart from the competition.

Our combined talents allow us to shoot every style of photography, including products, lifestyle, family, newborn, portrait, real estate, architecture, events, journalism, drone, video, etc.. you name it, we’ve done it.
